What $99 a month buys you, where the limits bite, and which tool to pick instead if you need something it doesn’t do.
The short answer
The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit is a good choice if you already use Semrush and want to see how ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and other AI answers mention your brand next to your SEO data. It costs $99 a month, tracks 25 prompts daily, and has no free trial. It does not tell you how many visits, leads or sales AI sent you; for that you need an attribution tool on your own website.

If you need more prompts, Semrush One bundles the SEO and AI toolkits: Starter includes 50 prompts, Pro+ 100 and Advanced 200. On 29 October 2026 Semrush’s pricing page listed the SEO + AI Starter bundle at $199 a month ($165.17 a month billed yearly) and the next tier at $299 a month.
What it does well
- Prompt research: topic volume, difficulty and intent, like keyword research for AI answers.
- Competitor research: which prompts and topics competitors are cited for when you aren’t.
- Brand performance: share of voice, sentiment and the narratives AI repeats about you.
- AI crawler checks: Site Audit flags pages AI bots can’t read.
- One login: it sits next to your Semrush keyword and backlink data.
Where it falls short
- No trial. You pay before you see your own data.
- 25 prompts is tight. A business with several services or cities runs out quickly, and each block of 50 more is $60 a month.
- Per-domain and per-user pricing adds up for agencies: three client domains and two users is already several hundred dollars a month.
- Mentions are not customers. Being named in an AI answer doesn’t tell you whether anyone called, booked or bought.
