Which AI Sent for Webflow

What the app does

Which AI Sent shows which of your website’s visits and leads came from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot, next to search, social and everything else. It also checks whether ChatGPT recommends your business when customers ask for a business like yours.

The Webflow app adds one small analytics script to your site. It doesn’t change your design, pages or CMS content.

Install

1. Create a free account at whichaisent.com/register and enter your Webflow site’s address (for example yoursite.webflow.io or your own domain).
2. Open Setup in your dashboard. We detect that the site is built on Webflow. Click Connect Webflow.
3. Webflow shows its approval screen. Choose the site and click Authorize App. If you click Cancel instead, nothing is changed and you return to the dashboard.
4. We register our script on the site and publish it. You’re returned to the dashboard showing Connected via Webflow.

Before connecting: publishing sends any unpublished changes live too. If you have work in progress in the Designer, publish or undo it first.

We don’t read or change your pages, CMS items, forms, products or settings.

Check it’s working

In Setup, click Open my website as a ChatGPT visitor. Your site opens in a new tab as if someone clicked through from ChatGPT. Keep the dashboard open: within a few seconds it shows “It works!” with the page and device. Test visits are never counted in your numbers.

Using the dashboard

• Overview: AI revenue, bookings and leads, and the share of your organic traffic that came from AI.
• Leads: every form submission with where the person came from, the pages they viewed, and a pipeline stage and value you can update.
• Website traffic: visits by source over time. Tick sources on or off and hover for daily numbers.
• AI visibility: the answers ChatGPT gives when customers ask for a business like yours, whether you’re named, and who is named instead. Rechecked every week.
• Integrations: send each lead to your CRM or to Zapier, Make, HubSpot, GoHighLevel or any webhook.

Optional settings

• “How did you first hear about us?”: your choice. We can add an optional dropdown to your contact forms to catch customers who asked an AI and then called or typed your address. Turn it on or off in Setup.
• Cookie consent: in Settings, choose to wait for your cookie banner before recording anything.

Remove the app

1. In your dashboard, open Setup → Stop tracking this website → Disconnect. We stop recording straight away.
2. Webflow asks you to authorize once more. We then delete our script from the site and publish, so nothing of ours remains.

You can also remove it from Webflow: Site settings → Custom code → Code added by Apps, delete Which AI Sent, then publish. To revoke access completely, go to Workspace settings → Apps & Integrations and remove Which AI Sent.

Data and privacy

The script records where each visit came from, the pages viewed and contact-form submissions. It doesn’t store IP addresses or set advertising cookies. Full details are on Data & tracking and in our Privacy policy.

Troubleshooting

• “We haven’t seen the visit yet”: make sure the site is published, and accept the cookie banner if your site has one, then run the test again.
• Wrong site connected: check the website address in Settings matches your Webflow site, then connect again.
