Which AI sent that customer?
People now ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity who to hire. When they pick you, most of them show up in your analytics as “direct” or “Google”, or they phone you and never show up at all. We trace those customers through to the jobs they booked and what those jobs were worth.
One line of code on your site. No CRM access required.
| Source | Leads | Booked | Revenue |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | 12 | 5 | $9,200 |
| Gemini | 4 | 2 | $3,600 |
| Perplexity | 3 | 1 | $2,000 |
| Claude | 1 | 0 | $0 |
| Copilot | 1 | 0 | $0 |
Your analytics weren’t built for this.
AI assistants have become a front door for local businesses, but the usual tools lose track of the people who come in through it. Here are three ways that happens.
The click never happens
Someone asks ChatGPT for a mover and gets three names. They search for yours on Google and call the number. Your reports credit Google.
The referrer gets dropped
Visits from AI apps on phones often arrive without saying where they came from, so they land in “direct”, next to people who typed your address in.
Google’s AI looks like Google
Clicks from AI Overviews and AI Mode are recorded as ordinary organic search. No tool can split them out today, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
Three small changes. Then the numbers add up on their own.
There’s nothing to migrate and nothing to replace. It runs alongside whatever you already use.
Add one line to your site
A small script notes where each visit came from: ChatGPT, Google, Facebook and the rest. Visitors stay anonymous until they choose to contact you.
Ask one question
“How did you first hear about us?” goes on your quote form and gets asked on the phone. That’s how you catch people who asked an AI and then called.
Mark what booked
Tick “booked” and enter the amount in your dashboard, or send us your CRM export. Every lead ends up tied to real revenue, not just a visit.
We’d rather undercount than overclaim.
Every lead in your report says how we know where it came from. If the evidence isn’t there, the lead stays in its normal channel and isn’t counted as AI.
| Confirmed | We saw the visitor arrive from an AI tool within 90 days of contacting you. Clicked a link in ChatGPT, browsed, filled in the quote form a week later. |
| Declared | The customer told you they found you through an AI tool when asked. “I asked Gemini for movers in Tampa and you came up.” |
| Assisted | There’s specific, written evidence that AI played a part earlier in the journey. A hunch doesn’t count. An AI visit five months before the lead, or a note from the call saying ChatGPT shortlisted you. |
| Everything else | Google, Facebook, Yelp, referrals, direct. Reported just as clearly, so AI’s share is measured against your whole business. |
A report an owner can read in two minutes.
A monthly report
Leads, bookings and revenue from AI, month by month and over the last 90 days, broken down by platform.
A live dashboard
Every lead with its source and how we know. You can update bookings and amounts as jobs close.
Every lead, not just AI
We track all your sources, so a number like “7.7% of revenue” means something.
Your data, exportable
Download everything as a spreadsheet whenever you want. If you leave, you take it with you.
Works with how you sell
Web forms, phone calls, CRM exports. You don’t need to give us access to anything you’d rather keep closed.
No effect on page speed
The script loads after your page does, stores no personal details until someone contacts you, and sets no advertising cookies.
If you sell AI visibility, this is how you prove it worked.
Rankings and citation screenshots are hard to put a dollar figure on. A report that says “ChatGPT sent you eight booked jobs worth $14,800 last month” isn’t. Run every client from one account, give each of them a private dashboard, and send the report each month.
The question every client eventually asks is “what am I actually getting for this?” This is the answer, in their own revenue.
Things people ask first.
Will it slow my website down?
No. The script loads asynchronously, after your page, and only sends a small message when a visit starts or a form is submitted.
Do you need access to my CRM?
No. You can mark bookings and amounts in your dashboard. If you’d rather not do that by hand, a weekly export from your CRM works too, and we already read SmartMoving-style exports. Direct integrations are on the way.
What about customers who phone instead of filling in a form?
The website can’t see phone calls, so this part depends on your team asking “How did you first hear about us?” and noting the answer. We show you how often it’s asked, so you know how complete the picture is.
Can you track Google’s AI Overviews?
Not separately. Google records those clicks as normal search, so they appear under Google unless the customer tells you otherwise. We label this clearly rather than guess.
What data do you collect?
Before someone contacts you: a random ID, where the visit came from, the landing page and whether it’s a phone or computer. When they submit a form: the name, email, phone and answer they typed into it. No IP addresses, no ad cookies, and nothing is sold. The details are on our data & tracking page.
How much does it cost?
We’re onboarding a small number of businesses and agencies right now, starting with a 90-day pilot. Tell us about your business and we’ll walk you through it.
Who’s behind this?
Which AI Sent is built by Tamitechs, an agency that helps businesses get recommended by AI assistants. We built it because our clients kept asking what that visibility was worth.
