Partner API

For partners building their own page to feature Which AI Sent: get our current product details, and run the “Does ChatGPT recommend this business?” check with your own design. Every result includes a signup link that credits you.

Just want to add something quickly? The ready-made widget, banner and link need no code. Use this API only if you’re building your own page.

Your partner key

We issue each partner a key (it starts with wasp_) and a referral code. Email info@whichaisent.com to get one.

Keep the key on your server. Call the API from your backend, never from JavaScript in the browser, or anyone could copy it and use up your daily checks. Each key has a daily limit (30 checks unless agreed otherwise), which resets at midnight UTC.

Endpoints

GET /api/partner/v1/info

No key needed. Our current name, tagline, description, plans and prices, any launch offer, logo URLs and brand colour, so your page never shows out-of-date details. Add ?ref=YOUR-CODE and the links it returns will credit you.

POST /api/partner/v1/check

Runs the ChatGPT check for a business. Takes 20–40 seconds. The same business and question within 24 hours returns the saved result instantly and doesn’t count toward your limit.

The response includes:

  • checks: the three questions asked, whether the business was mentioned, its position, and the businesses named instead;
  • access: whether the site’s robots.txt blocks each AI crawler (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Apple), and robots (ok, none or unreadable);
  • signupUrl: our signup link with your code. Use it for your call-to-action button.

Your partner name, code, daily limit and checks used today.

Errors

  • Show results as a snapshot: answers vary by person, place and time. Don’t present them as guarantees.
  • Keep our name and the link to Which AI Sent visible next to results.
  • If you’re paid for referrals, mark links with rel="sponsored".
