When do customers actually contact you? A map of your busiest days and hours
Short answer: Which AI Sent’s Busiest days and times tool shows the last 90 days of your website as a day-by-hour map: when people visit, and when they get in touch by form, phone tap or message tap. It also tells you what share of contacts arrive outside working hours.
Why timing is worth knowing
For a local business, the first company to reply often gets the job. If a third of your enquiries arrive at 9pm and get a reply at 10am, you’re giving competitors a thirteen-hour head start on a third of your leads. You can’t fix that until you can see it.
What you see
- A plain summary: your busiest day and hour for visits, and the day and hour people most often get in touch.
- The map: seven rows for the days of the week, twenty-four columns for the hours. Darker squares mean more visits. A dot marks an hour when someone contacted you.
- The same numbers as a table, for anyone who prefers it.
Times are shown in your own local time, so 6pm means 6pm where you are.
How to use it
Staff the phone when contacts happen, not when visits happen
The two don’t always line up. People browse at lunch and get in touch after dinner. The dots show the hours that matter for answering.
Cover the evening and the weekend
If a meaningful share of contacts arrive outside 8am to 6pm on weekdays, pick one: an automatic text back, a booking link on the thank-you page, or one person who checks leads at 8pm. Any of them beats silence until morning.
Time your posts and offers
If Tuesday morning is your busiest time, that’s when a new offer on the home page gets seen.
What it won’t claim
With only a few contacts, patterns are noise. So the tool states the busiest contact time only once there are at least ten contacts in the period, and the after-hours share only once there are at least twenty. Before that you’ll still see the map, without conclusions drawn from it.
Contacts here means actions on your website: forms sent, and taps on your phone number or message links. A call made by typing your number from memory isn’t visible to any website tool.
