AI revenue attribution: what ChatGPT and other AI are worth in dollars
Booked revenue from AI assistants, as a number and as a share of your whole business, with the customers and the evidence behind every dollar.
The question behind all the others
“Is AI worth investing in?” can’t be answered with visits or mentions. It needs a revenue figure you can defend: AI brought in this much booked revenue last month, this share of the total, and here are the customers. That’s AI revenue attribution.
How revenue gets counted
- A lead is attributed to an AI assistant with evidence: a tracked visit (Confirmed), the customer’s own answer (Declared), or a written note (Assisted). See AI lead attribution.
- The lead becomes a sale. Mark it Won with the amount in your dashboard. Or let the revenue arrive on its own:
- Won deals sent back from your CRM through a webhook or Zapier
- A weekly CRM CSV import, matched by email or phone, with estimate, booked status and final value
- WooCommerce orders counted automatically through the WordPress plugin (order number, total and currency only). Shopify orders will be counted the same way once our Shopify app clears Shopify’s review
- The report adds it up. AI revenue, AI bookings and AI leads, broken down by assistant and by evidence level, compared with every other channel.

Why the number is a minimum, on purpose
Some AI-influenced customers can’t be seen by any tool: someone who saw your name in an AI Overview and called, or who forgot where they heard of you. We don’t model or estimate them in. No evidence, no AI credit. That makes the figure smaller than some tools will show you, and much easier to defend in front of a client, a partner or a finance team.

Who needs AI revenue figures
- Owners deciding whether to spend on getting recommended by AI.
- Marketing leads who need AI in the channel report next to Google and paid.
- Agencies selling AI visibility work, who need to show clients it pays: Which AI Sent for agencies.

AI revenue attribution questions
Does it connect to WooCommerce and Shopify?
WooCommerce, yes: the WordPress plugin counts each order (order number, total and currency only). The Shopify app does the same for Shopify orders and is in Shopify’s review now.
What about service businesses without online checkout?
Mark leads as won with the job value in the dashboard, import a CRM export, or have your CRM send won deals back automatically.
Is AI revenue double-counted with Google?
No. Each lead has one channel. AI revenue is a share of your total, never added on top.
Can I share the report with clients?
Yes. The Agency plan gives each client a private dashboard and a monthly report you can save as PDF.
